Tour of the České Budějovice Town Hall

As part of the tours, you can explore the history and architecture of the Town Hall complex with a guide or enjoy the unique views the Town Hall has to offer.

Tour Options:

1. Grand Town Hall Tour – Main Tour

• A guided tour of the Town Hall and its adjoining buildings, offering insights into its history and access to important rooms and areas that are normally not open to the public.
• Duration: 60 minutes

2. Historic Town Hall – Short Tour

• A guided tour of the historic part of the Town Hall, featuring its most interesting spaces and highlights.
• Duration: 30 minutes

3. Town Hall Views – Self-Guided Viewing Route

• This non-commentary tour includes access to the Emergency Management Tower with panoramic views and a visit to the Town Hall rooftop overlooking the historic Přemysl Otakar II Square.
• Duration: approximately 15 minutes

Options for participation:

Summer Season (June–September) – Regular Tours

• Guided tours are available on Mondays and Wednesdays at 10:15 a.m. and 2:15 p.m. in Czech.
• The non-commentary Town Hall Views tour is available on Fridays at 9:50 a.m. and 1:50 p.m.
• Advance booking is recommended once the dates are published on the CBsystem booking portal.

Winter season (Advent) – Regular Tours

• Regular winter tours take place every Wednesday during Advent at 3:45 p.m. in Czech. We recommend booking in advance once the dates have been announced.

Individual tours

• Außerhalb der regulären Führungen ist eine vorherige Anmeldung per E-Mail oder Telefon erforderlich.
• Individuelle Führungen können ausschließlich für den Kurzrundgang (30 Minuten) an Werktagen zwischen 9:00 und 15:00 Uhr in tschechischer oder englischer Sprache vereinbart werden, abhängig von der Verfügbarkeit der Räumlichkeiten und der Gästeführer.

Important Information:

Entry to the Town Hall is possible only when accompanied by a guide.

Guided tours are not suitable for children under 3 years of age.

Animals are not permitted inside the building.
